In the Lagertha texture you can see wood with traces of longitudinal sawing, which leaves a roughly processed surface with a fibrous structure. Wood darkened over time with an unpolished surface looks vintage. The distinct longitudinal pattern of dark annual rings complements this effect of antiquity.
